Vpet Pixel comes with a load of features that let you interact with Pyro! Set out a plate and watch him gobble up food. Ask him to set a reminder so you don't ever miss a deadline! Open up the toy chest and explore all the ways you can have fun while idling away the time.

Customize
Use a robust settings menu to adjust how Pyro interacts with you. Access advanced features list the Find Me setting and Auto-Load features.

1. Introduction and AcceptanceWelcome to Vpet Pixel!These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your download, installation, access to, and use of Vpet Pixel ("the App"), developed and maintained by Chase Maldonado ("we," "us," or "our").Vpet Pixel is a virtual pet application that allows users to interact with animated virtual companions directly on their computer desktop. The App may include pet customization, interactive activities, mini-games, and additional features.By downloading, installing, or using the App, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy.If you do not agree, please do not install or use the App.2. EligibilityThe App is intended for users aged 13 and older.If you are under the age of majority in your jurisdiction, you must have permission from a parent or legal guardian to use the App. Your parent or guardian should review these Terms with you.You agree to use the App in compliance with applicable laws and regulations.3. Software License and Permitted UseWe grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to install and use the App on compatible devices, subject to these Terms and any applicable purchase or licensing conditions.You may use the App for personal entertainment, including sharing screenshots or recordings of your virtual pet and featuring the App in livestreams or videos.You may not:- Redistribute, resell, or sublicense the App without authorization.

- Distribute unauthorized or malicious versions of the App.
- Use the App for unlawful activities or to interfere with other users, systems, or services.All rights not expressly granted remain with the developer or applicable rights holders.4. Desktop Overlay FunctionalityThe App is designed to display virtual pets and interactive elements over your desktop and, where supported, other application windows.Because of this functionality, the App may:- Display animated characters above other windows or desktop content.
- Respond to mouse, keyboard, or other supported user interactions.
- Run in the background while other applications are in use.
- Display visual effects, animations, sounds, or notifications.
- Consume system resources, including memory, processing power, and graphics resources.While we aim to provide a smooth experience, the App may occasionally interfere with the visibility or interaction of other applications.You are responsible for managing the App's visibility and operation when using other software, especially applications where uninterrupted visibility or input is important.We are not responsible for disruptions to unrelated applications or activities caused by the App, except where liability cannot legally be excluded.5. System Permissions and CompatibilityCertain features may require operating system permissions or access to supported desktop functionality.The App's functionality may vary depending on your operating system, hardware, display configuration, security software, or other installed applications.We cannot guarantee compatibility with every device, application, game, or operating system configuration.You are responsible for ensuring your device meets the App's published system requirements.Any collection, access, or processing of device information or other data is governed by our Privacy Policy.6. Third-Party Applications and GamesThe App is intended to function alongside other desktop applications. However, some third-party software, including video games, may restrict or prohibit overlays and other background programs.We do not guarantee that the App is permitted, supported, or compatible with any particular third-party application or game.You are responsible for complying with the terms, rules, and policies of any other software or service you use.We are not affiliated with or endorsed by third-party software developers unless explicitly stated.We are not responsible for third-party restrictions, incompatibilities, account penalties, or enforcement actions arising from your use of the App, except where applicable law provides otherwise.7. Free Features and Paid FeaturesThe App may provide both free and paid features.Free features may be used without purchasing additional content, subject to these Terms.Paid features may include additional customization options, interactive content, functionality, or other enhancements.The features included with each purchase or plan will be described before purchase.We may introduce new features or change the availability of free and paid offerings. Material changes affecting existing purchases will be handled in accordance with applicable law and any commitments made when those purchases occurred.Purchasing paid features does not transfer ownership of the App or its underlying intellectual property.8. Subscriptions and Recurring PaymentsWhere subscription plans are offered, the applicable price, billing frequency, included features, renewal terms, and cancellation instructions will be disclosed before purchase.Subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing period unless canceled before the next renewal, as disclosed at checkout.By purchasing a recurring subscription, you authorize the applicable payment provider to charge the disclosed recurring amount until cancellation.You may cancel your subscription at anytime.Unless otherwise stated at purchase or required by law, cancellation takes effect at the end of the current paid billing period. You will retain access to the applicable paid features until that period expires.We will provide notice of applicable price changes and obtain additional consent when required by law.Failure to complete a subscription payment may result in suspension of the associated paid features.9. Lifetime LicensesWe may offer one-time purchases identified as "Lifetime Licenses."A Lifetime License provides a non-expiring license to use the specific features or product edition identified at the time of purchase, subject to compliance with these Terms.A Lifetime License does not automatically guarantee:- Indefinite development or technical support.
- Compatibility with all future operating systems or hardware.
- Access to separately sold future products or major editions.
- Perpetual operation of external services provided by third parties.The exact features, included updates, activation requirements, and any limitations of a Lifetime License will be disclosed before purchase.If license verification or activation requires an online service, the applicable license policy will explain how discontinuation of that service affects continued use.10. Payments and RefundsPurchases may be processed by authorized third-party payment providers.These providers may maintain separate terms and privacy policies governing payment processing.Prices, taxes, and applicable fees will be disclosed during checkout.Refund requests are governed by the refund policy presented at purchase, along with any mandatory consumer protection rights.Nothing in these Terms limits your statutory rights to refunds, remedies, or cancellation where applicable.For billing assistance, contact [email protected].** 1. Virtual Pets, Customization, and User Data**The App may allow you to customize virtual pets, assign names, save preferences, and maintain progress or other in-app information.You retain ownership of original content you provide to the App, subject to any third-party rights.You grant us only the rights reasonably necessary to process that content for the features you choose to use, in accordance with our Privacy Policy.You are responsible for ensuring that content you provide does not violate applicable law or the rights of others.We aim to maintain reliable functionality, but software errors, device failures, updates, or other technical issues may affect locally stored or synchronized information.You are encouraged to maintain backups where the App provides a backup or export feature.We cannot guarantee that progress, preferences, or other application data will always be recoverable.12. Updates and Service AvailabilityWe may release updates to improve functionality, fix bugs, address security issues, or introduce new content.Certain updates may be necessary for compatibility, security, or continued access to online features.We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features or services when reasonably necessary, including for maintenance, security, legal requirements, or technical limitations.Where practical, we will provide advance notice of significant changes that materially affect users.Changes to purchased features and licenses remain subject to applicable consumer rights and any commitments made at purchase.13. Intellectual PropertyThe App, including its software, original artwork, animations, character designs, sounds, interface elements, branding, and other developer-created assets, is owned Chase Maldonado or its licensors.These materials are protected by applicable intellectual property laws.Your use of the App does not grant ownership of these materials.You may share ordinary screenshots, gameplay videos, and livestreams featuring the App, provided you do not falsely claim ownership of the underlying assets or imply official endorsement.Any additional permissions concerning fan creations, merchandise, or commercial reuse may be described in separate published guidelines.14. Disclaimer of WarrantiesThe App is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis to the extent permitted by applicable law.Although we make reasonable efforts to maintain quality and functionality, we do not guarantee that the App will always operate without interruption, errors, performance issues, or compatibility problems.We do not guarantee that the App will work with every third-party game or application.You acknowledge that software functionality may be affected by device settings, operating system changes, third-party programs, and other circumstances outside our control.Nothing in this section excludes warranties or protections that cannot legally be excluded.5. Limitation of LiabilityTo the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Chase Maldonado will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from the use of the App, including lost profits, interruptions, or loss of data.To the extent a monetary limitation is permitted, our total aggregate liability arising from the App will not exceed the greater of $100 USD or the amount you paid us for the App during the 12 months preceding the event giving rise to the claim.These limitations do not apply to liabilities that cannot lawfully be limited, including any applicable liability for fraud, intentional misconduct, personal injury, or mandatory consumer protections.16. TerminationYou may stop using the App at any time by uninstalling it.Uninstalling the App does not automatically cancel an active subscription. Subscriptions must be canceled using the applicable cancellation process.We may suspend or terminate your license or access to online services if you materially violate these Terms, engage in fraud, or misuse the App.Where appropriate and reasonably possible, we will provide notice and an opportunity to resolve the violation.Termination does not eliminate rights or obligations that are required to survive under applicable law.17. IntroductionYour privacy is important to us!This Privacy Policy explains how Chase Maldonado ("we," "us," or "our") handles information when you download, install, purchase, or use Vpet Pixel ("the App") and our associated website and services.Vpet Pixel is a desktop virtual pet application that allows users to interact with animated companions on their computer screens. Desktop Overlay and User InteractionsThe App operates as a desktop overlay, allowing virtual pets to appear and interact over the desktop and other application windows.To enable these features, the App processes interaction events and system information necessary to display and control the virtual pet.These may include mouse clicks, pointer movement, supported keyboard controls, application window information, and display characteristics, depending on the features implemented.3.1 Processing on Your DeviceVirtual pet interactions and gameplay are processed locally.Your interactions with the virtual pet do not require sending your pet's saved progress or customization data to our servers.3.2 Screen and Input AccessThe App's screen and input capabilities are limited to left and right mouse clicks, and general keyboard usage.The App currently does not access screen contents, captures screenshots, reads active window titles, uses global keyboard or mouse hooks, or processes clipboard information. However future implementation of features may change this.No data or information is stored, transmitted, or included in diagnostics.We will describe any additional access to screen contents or input information in this Policy before introducing functionality that requires it.4. Information Processed Through Online ServicesWhile your virtual pet data remains local, certain optional features require communication with online services.These include purchases, license activation, license validation, and subscription management.4.1 Purchases and Payment ProcessingWhen you purchase a paid feature, subscription, or lifetime license, your transaction is processed through Creem.io.The payment provider may collect information including:- Your name and email address.
- Billing address and location.
- Payment information.
- Transaction details.
- Purchased products or subscription plans.
- Information needed for fraud prevention and tax compliance.The payment provider processes this information according to its own privacy policy.We do not directly receive or store complete credit card numbers or payment security codes.We may receive purchase records from the payment provider, including name and email address, to confirm purchases, provide support, and manage access to paid features.4.2 Software License ActivationPaid features may require a software license key or other activation method.During license activation or verification, the App communicates with Cream.io through API to locate records and confirm valid licensure.Depending on the licensing implementation, this process may involve:- A software license key or activation token.

- License activation and subscription status.
- A license instance identifier.
